RE: Why is it that Men seem to always get the blame

if you can manage to spell correctly and use correct grammar, i could believe you would better express your opinion

RE: Banning the burka

in my view , as an australian, the burka ban is not unreasonable. security concerns aside, a scarf is not confronting ,- nor is an ankle length dress, but i find this full personal cover-up offensive. our turkish muslims are such good people, great neighbours , and so it comes down to the difference between moderate and full-on muslim dressing of islamic women, and how the public of the host country sees it . if muslims want and accept the hospitality of a western country as their home, their religion stands unaffected, but surely,- for even a weak attempt at integration,- they need to be accommodating of some effort to "fit in",- but rarely do. their is no effort to be friendly with , and mix with westerners,- but our turkish and indonesian residents do it so successfully, and are totally welcomed and accepted. we have iraqui muslims where i live, but try to talk to them , and you are ignored, never a single word from their women, and they have segregated themselves so completely from our public its a mystery why they have relocated here,- refugees and otherwise. we have so many wonderful muslim residents here,- such good people, its a shame a few of the more closed- minded cause public resentment.rex

RE: cheapest date

for having lavished money upon fine dining as a courtesy of courting, i was rebuked by a long time friend for this seen excess, -his having then enjoyed a great night out for the cost of one dollar of hot fries , and a bottle of cream sherry. a meagre budget, and he scored, a lesson learned

RE: mens preferences-B&B-smokers

in my case i never really get interested in grossly overweight women, a well-padded voluptuous woman is another matter. it must be just a personal preference thing, there is nothing deficient with overweight women, i expect that overweight men are equally un-attractive to women. i believe though that most men really do prefer slender women , i certainly do

RE: Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama..................

even here in australia , bush and his thugs have worn patience thin, its not our government , but the effect upon australia is there , so its part of our second-hand business, so good riddance to the war-hawks , and let obama have his time and do his un-finished business. rex tooley australia

RE: Another failed presidency..................Barack Obama..................

its amazing,- you sit back in judgement of a man who is clearly trying to do his very best, has been in office for literally 10 minutes, and you expect him to be able to wipe away the accumulated garbage accrued over many years, and solve domestic and international problems in the blink of an eye,- just ridiculous, and your observations are those of some-one who has totally forgotten the fact that your people voted obama into office, and you and every other american need to get real and stand behind your president, and ,- in due time, if it happens ,- deny mr obama a second term by majority vote. his presidency can be measured better by allowing him the opportunity to perform his near first term in good faith , and tolerance of him for at least the time being. to do otherwise is dumb and short-sighted. i am an australian,- we all work on the basis of giving every-one a fair go.i suggest you consider doing that for a while , and contemplate upon who you believe could have done better, and why they are not president,- it could well be yourself.you seem so knowing of all,- but ignorant of anything. another australian comment,- get off his back.

you are 100% right on conrad, i recommended 2 such scammers seek assistance from their embassy,- the resulting weak excuse was that they had done that AND WERE IGNORED,- a most unlikely situation, and the point you make is excellent,- challenge them to go to some trouble , and do some-thing that would expose their fraud, and the string of weak excuses begin,- yes be challenging,- its your money

the lost american woman

well, for one so young you observe correctly, - and this is the sort of thing you watch out for,- inconsistencies,- any even little thing that does not match the advised circumstances,- e.g a scammer revealed herself on web-camera,- hungry and starving,- yet her condition looked great, and the comfort level of her accommodation looked quite impressive for a home-less woman.keep up your guard young lady,- you are on the track of this one. rex

o.k,- you were joking, for a while there you had me worried mate, and you know,- while the photos are probably not their own,- the photos presented to us contain some absolute stunners, good on you rob

RE: I must be sending the wrong kind of flowers...

i have found that sending many women flowers is a waste of time as they are commonly ignored,- i really suggest you bite the bullet, and just mail them up-front ,- no reply then is a clear rejection .

the lost american woman

then you need personality , or psychological counseling mate

i am sure most guys using any dating site will have often encountered scammers. after a while they are not that hard to pick when confronted with really searching identity questions. we have also all probably been confronted with nigerian, ghanese and russian scammers ,- all of whom are particularly blatant,- utterly shameless types. but the best frauds i ever struck,- were foreigners posing as american citizens, who via some disastrous event are stuck in a foreign country with no money, and not a single soul to come to aid them in their plight,- needing fares , food and all kinds of would-be necessities they cant buy. they need special care, and come complete with american pass-ports, citizen identification cards, and a host of forged government documents, which,- when micro-examined, have inconsistencies and errors,- but appear absolutely genuine to the eye. and,- they are skilled and intelligent usually too,- with very well ,- but routine presentations. my reaction after nearly being sucked right in is,- both ladies and gentlemen, never send money to anyone you have not personally met and have great trust and devloped interest in,- am interested to hear of other members similar experiences. rex

RE: North Korea

no ,- they cant even feed their own people , a failed state in despair, unable to do anything, just pretend. they could be wiped off the face of the planet in 10 minutes, no-one wants that, but in the end, if they make no compromise , and demonstrate good faith, they are a weak and ineffective part of asia, asking to be put down humanely, the sooner the better,- an arrogant, ignorant and in-effective pathetic country that knows not a single thing of peace and good will. the sooner the people dump their government , face reality , and join the real world ,- the better. anything less ,- if necessary will see their final destruction. rex
