Showing my age now...I misspent my youth with Radio Caroline and Radio Luxembourg...and any station that had John Peel or Alan "Fluff" Freeman on was good enough..so many acts, groups, genres were born there. Never forget the time Freeman broadcast "Wish You Were Here" in its entirety..God bless radio/cassette players
Hi as you can see a lot of people have lost loved ones, my own case involved my wife (today is our wedding anniversary) in 1999 and then my 6yr old daughter in 2003. What can I say to you except that I found that being acceptant and open to the fact that you WILL go through a grieving process can help. A process that is perhaps unique to you and you alone. There is no quick fix in trying to halt those feelings, tears that come to you unbidden and out of the blue, will come...so let them pet. The point is that you accept the feelings you experience. There is no shame in tears...none.....If you want to have tears, you go ahead and have them The best thing you can do is go with it...dont fight it. Perhaps you might disagree, but a sensitive lady advised me, if I wanted to have tears the have them, but those who have passed to spirit don't need them...they are happier than we think. Just be good to yourself. Hope that helps What we all the beginning is often the end, and to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from. Eliot
The best one I heard in a while was that a workmates Pomeranian was having a hysterectomy..and it worked.the alien abduction one is pushing it a tad. Cant beat the recently revived and departed relatives though.
Ninety-eight percent of the adults in this country are decent, hard-working, honest Americans. It's the other lousy two percent that get all the publicity. But then - we elected them. --Lily Tomlin
Did anyone see the documentary the other night about the lady who adopted something like 8 Downes syndrome babies and a young girl with a brain tumor and brought them up as her own..turning her back on her own life & needs. Quite remarkable "Children come into this world with no baggage only their innocence." The definition of love is being re-written over and over again
"Audi drivers are secretly ex BMW drivers who are fed up with Audi drivers spitting at them because they used to drive beamers" ????????? Jeremy Clarkeson
Perfection, of a kind, was what he was after, And the poetry he invented was easy to understand; He knew human folly like the back of his hand, And was greatly interested in armies and fleets; When he laughed, respectable senators burst with laughter, And when he cried the little children died in the streets.
