Sooo...are you and Darryl still an item?? Hope you don't mind me getting to personal, just want everyone to be happy!! And it has to be said that you were always one of my favorites on this site, we would have such a great time hanging out!! :)
I did sooo well on the non smoking thing until I slipped a bit recently! But I finished my last pack the other day and haven't smoked since...I can really do without! As for marrying, well only time can tell, it is enivitable, but we both have things to sort out first...mainly money issues. I'm still waiting for the day that you and I can share a bottle of wine and listen to some classic Bowie on vinyl!! So....how are you and your darling?
I soooo remember that post!! How cool are you?!?! God, that was ages ago!! And so you know, the invite is still open, I got a lot of vinyl that needs listening to as well as some drinky that needs drank up!! :)
I've really missed all of you aswell!!! I'm forever in the debt of CS!!! :) Nursing is going great, work with a bunch of crazies, but it makes for an interesting day! :) And as for a tattoo Lori, anytime you want to get a Bowie tat, I'm with you on that one! :)
Soooo....I know it's been ages since I've posted on here...hell, most of you here now probably have no clue as to who I am anymore!! :) But anyways, I found it fitting to maybe let those who care know what is going on!! Dave(dvdmcm33) and I spent Christmas and New Year together, he was here for a week in Ohio and then we went back to England together for another week. What an experience!!! I was a bit afraid that he would be bored with Ohio as it's not too exciting!! But we had a great time here, my family absolutely love him! He was a champ fishing in my pond and caught a big catfishy!! We even got matching tattoos of music notes(we've always said we were "musical soulmates"), so now we are always connected because we have the same tattoo!! :) I had such a nice Christmas and it was such a dream come true to have him here to celebrate with....it was simply the best Christmas ever! After Christmas, we traveled to England, and it was such a great experience for me as I've always wanted to go to England, and it must be said that my expectations were waaayyyy exceded! I simply loved it there, especially the roundabouts...they are just too damn cool! It was great to meet his family and friends as they are all just the best! Dave was the best host and I was never homesick at all, he really made me feel at home and took the best care of me, he is truly a godsend!! We even ventured out to London and I must say that it is quite different from the lil towns I'm used to! I was simply fascinated and London was simply enchanting....it's truly a time that I will never forget! We are really trying to figure things out, there is a long and winding road ahead of us, but we are meant for each other and are gonna make it work. I never thought I would be in this kind of situation, but then again, I've never been so in love and committed to someone before, we will definately prevail and be together!! I'm just such a happy girl although I miss him sooo much!! Just wanted to fill everyone in, I know this is a long post, but I had lots to say!! :)
Scariest...The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Vincent Price freaked me out, and there were rats in it!!! Funniest....."Monty Python and the Holy Grail" Tear Jerker...."Love Story", that one gets me everytime
No damn way!! I'd be so damn scared!! I'd have to hold someone's hand and then cry for an hour afterwards!!! I don't think I could recover from that...probably have nightmares for a year!!!!
I've been "trying" to play guitar for awhile but have a hell of a time with my fingers....they don't seem to be long enough or something lol. I've also played trumpet, clarinet, french horn, keyboards....but I've honestly sucked at all those too. Oh well, maybe someday I'll learn to play something decently!! I've always wanted to play drums...maybe that will be next on my list to suck at!! :)
Soooo....here is the second installment of Davey Doll and Ambygirl's story!! Just returning to Ohio early this morning after spending a wonderful time in Rhode Island with my darling :) I must say, I was a bit nervous in meeting up with Dave again as I knew that my feelings were strong, but I didn't know exactly what this trip would bring...I had a bit of a nervous/anxious feeling when my plane touched down in Boston. Luckily for me, my Mommy and Daddy came with me this time as they were planning a trip in Cape Cod, so they were there to sort out my worries a bit. Anyways...when I finally saw Dave, my anxious feelings disappeared almost immediately as I felt so at ease when I finally was with him. We had a fantastic time, I met his sister Andrea and his new nephew Keagan. His sister is just a wonderful and beautiful girl and his nephew has to be the cutest baby ever as he has just the most adorable hair! Not to mention, he is a wonderful baby, he will sleep as long as you keep his "bucket" rocking, and Davey has a wonderful touch with the boy. We spent a lot of nice time together with his family, and they are truly all wonderful people, they made me feel very much at home. I felt very honored to be there for his sister and brother in law's anniversary and his brother in law's birthday, it was great to be able to celebrate with them. Dave was even able to spend some time with my Mom and Dad as we had dinner in Providence and hung out for awhile, and I was happy that my crazy parents didn't scare him away even though my Daddy was openly hitting on him lol, not to mention, my Mommy was an obnoxious drunk and got us cut off at the bar!! But really, they simply adore him, they even have a picture of him and they 2 of them hung up on the fridge...they simply adore him! The last day I was there, I was a bit on "pity party" as I knew that we would be departing soon. He cooked a lovely dinner, and I must say, Davey is an excellent cook! I don't have a big appetite usually, but with Davey cooking, I cleared my plate :) It was hard to say goodbye, and I did suffer from "despair in the departure lounge" as I was listening to sappy songs, which really isn't good for me!! But it is hopefully just the beginning for us as I love him immensely. I guess I just now realized how long this was, but I wanted to fill you in...so all in all, things are great, and I'm so happy that I found lil Wagy as he is simply the best!!!
I don't agree with this at all!! Looks like someone drank a few too many gin punchies that night and was on pity party!! Glad you found your way to CS my doll! I love you!!
Leo is truly a deep and beautiful person...I really wish I knew him better. His intellect is far beyond what the usual mind can comprehend. He is such an asset to CS and his wisdom is truly inspiring.
It is true! I said YES!! I know it's a little quick, but I feel in love so quickly that there is no turning back now! He is "the one", I'm so happy, don't know whether to laugh or cry!! Now for the planning, never been the bride before, always the bridesmaid!! Thanks to you all for all the warm wishes. We are definately a CS success story and you are all invited to the wedding
