Sure is.. nearly died when my mum was diagnosed it was like the end of my world, thought sure death was to follow, it was a harrowing 12 mths to follow with treatment etc, but its an awaking to a better life and a much closer relationship with my mother, a blessing in disguise...

Thanks, trust me its a lovely experience, everyone is so nice and there's a lovely karma with everyone you encounter on the day!!

Yes, its a great cause! i was out today doing my bit selling the daff's, fab atmosphere in Grafton St.. some stop and hav a chat and always have a tale to tell, my mother had cancer two years ago and its a honor to give something back, most people know somebody who's had it, or recovering from it. I seen a big difference this year to last yr regarding the amount collected ' sign of the times' i suppose but everyone gave what they could afford and it very heartwarming to see.

Oh Harbour Lights and The Boat yard dancing on the beach til the sun came up what a place. And the regae lounge in Laurences had great fun there many a night.[/quote

Lesson learned here too,a very hard way,and there were warning signs too but i suppose if you really like someone you will give them the benifit of the doubt.. there are a lot of honerable men too so i don't think we should 'tarnish with the same brush'
