Flyfishing is my sport, still the same thing it's fishing.. On the might Tongariro River in the North Island of New Zealand, Using a 6ft4in nimble rod with a 5lb trace it was a thrill to catch trout on a daily basis..The legal take home limit of trout was 3 or you can just catch and release as you please..The most trout I've caught in one day was 18 the heaviest being at 7lb and the smallest at 2lb you can get a few double didgit trout but haven't had any luck in that department. The river does have a heavy stock of Brown and Rainbow Trout and I've only ever caught one brown that weighed in at 8 and a half pound and I thought it was going to snap my rod in half, they're a good fight fish... What made it even better i made my own flies as buying can be abit expensive at 4-5 dollars a pop, so making them cost alot less.. well that was all most 7 years ago now i miss flyfishing in NZ.. those were the days

I will leave this site eventually, but not yet..still a newbie to the forums...as for finding someone compatible, well that's work in progress theirs no hurry i'm happily single.
