I admit there are lots of scamers and CS has not done anything for my dating but I do like the forums and have made some internet friends here so i will stick it out and stay with the forums.

True, I've had some relationships, but the majority of my life has been spent raising my daughter alone. I'm coming to the point of realizing that I'm tired of bs'ing around with men who don't know what they want. Its not rocket science to be in a relationship and I do want that - simple and easy it would seem, but alas I'm still searching.

i also understand that canada is a huge country and people don't usually live in close proximity to each other and it could mean that people in canada will have a bit more problem in connecting to other people. But i don't think the same can be said, in general, about the USA and Europe. Or maybe i am just looking at this issue from a not-so-realistic way

In the west Women are considered equal and can think for themselves, That is the problem, If we where allowed to chain them up and wip them once in a while there would be no problem.

Hmmm.... I don't, but my restrictions are tight.
As for staying with CS, why not? I'm mostly here for the forums anyway and I like how CS is set up for the most part.. used to use pof forums for years for a vent... but they have some strange rules that were annoying.
Besides here most of the English speakers live too far away to be useful anyway, wish I could find one who likes pasta and was willing to move tho.

Frankly, I think that most people don't have a clue how to be a good partner. I think in the past, many couples stayed together because of financial reasons and the children. It doesn't mean that they had a good relationship either. These days, it doesn't seem to matter.
Very few are willing to stick it out and work things through. As well, too many are prone to cheat. There is a lack of respect for themselves and their partners as well as the relationship.

If a Man can put the needs and desires of his lady as a priority in his life and the lady put the mans needs and desires as a priority in her life the both partys would be far more satisfied and willing to stick it out.
