I think it all depends on the the reason why they're living at home. If it's someone that's just gotten out of a bad relationship and has moved back in with their parents or someone that's taking care of an elderly parent, I'd have no problems with dating them. However, if they're in their late 20's on up and have never lived on their own, then while I might be friends with them as a dating prospect I probably wouldn't. Personally, my mom is living here with me. She's retired and it's getting harder for her to get around. I don't belive in shutting people away in nursing homes, to me that's like just throwing them away. Yes, this has been a deal breaker, at times, but I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with a woman who didn't feel the same way that I do towards their parents.
Counter-points: (1) Church- Since I'm not a member of any church, that's totally out. (2) Work- I met my ex where we both worked, at the time. While I'll be friends with the women I work with, I won't date any of them. I guess one bad experiance burned me on that. (3) Computer web sites. Ok, that's been a mixed bag. I've met some really interesting women that way. Some of us have become friends and stayed in touch. But I've also met quite a few complete nut-cases and there seems to be alot more scammers out there these days. (4) Singles dances and other events. Let's just say that I can be extremely shy around people that I don't know.
Actually, it might be a decent idea. It would probably make sense to have it in a place easy to get to, even for those of us in the western part of the state.
RE: Official Instructions for driving in NJ
I always thought the best way to drive in NJ, was to go through PA instead.
