RE: Would you?? ......You know the drill

^I have no idea what that means in my last post. I was just trying to be snarky.

RE: Bringing back the good old days!

Bring back 1985. I was ten, just got my first new bike. Had my first lip kiss (which I stole from the neighbor boy) and I spent snow days watching videos on MTV (back when the M stood for music and not moronic).

RE: High Maintenance Women....

You forgot sit-ups. I do sit-ups every morning.

RE: Earth Hour

Well, I'm keeping my lights on. I just bought those new energy saving bulbs which last a zillion hours. They were three times as expensive and I'll be damed if I'm going to putter around in the dark or ride my bike in 30 degree weather because some people in Australia are cold, or hot, or whatever. I bought the energy efficient bulbs, I did my part.

Wait....there....I just set my computers battery to energy efficient mode and I only flashed once when I used the bathroom. I've done all I wish to do.

RE: Earth Hour

The Earth has continuous climate change. Warming and cooling has gone in cycles since the Earth was formed.

If you ask people to shut off their appliances you must have a specific goal in mind. You can't be general and just say "climate change." Climate change how? Hotter? Colder? More extreme? Different than what's happened the last million years?

Would be better to just say Earth Day's purpose is to cut back on the use of non renewable energy and to cut back on the pollutants in the air. Almost everyone agrees on the necessity of these actions. Not everyone agrees on the impact of climate change. When you use the words "climate change" you politicalize Earth Day and turn many people off.

RE: Earth Hour

If I turn off my computer and television then I must read but if I turn off my lights I can not read. So the only option left is to drive around in my car but I think driving around will do more harm to the environment than turning off my lights.

Earth hour is a gimmick and actually may do more harm than good. People are not going to sit around in the dark doing nothing. They probably will do things which cause more damage to the environment than the things they would normally do.

The money, time, and resources used promoting this event could be been better used if applied to technologies which help cut energy use.

Also, let us not forget the argument which says global warming is a myth. This argument grew stronger in 2008 because the world's average temperature actually declined.

RE: Is Every Woman Shallow??....

Yes, every woman is shallow. Only deep thinking men such as yourself know all the women in the world are shallow. The shallow men don't realize all women are shallow thus we shallow women are able to take advantage of them. We can't take advantage of you because you are too deep thinking for us.

btw, it's 1:20am here.

RE: What do think obama will be better than bush?

There is no way to compare the two accurately unless Obama has his own 9/11 to deal with. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

Most people think Obama would not have implemented the policies Bush did if Obama were president during 9/11. No Gitmo, no wire taps, no torture. So the question is; If Obama were president during 9/11 would there have been another major attack on U.S. soil? Did the Bush policies, however "wrong" some might consider them, stop another major attack? Was it worth having some people give up some freedoms temporary in order stop another attack?

Obama has yet to be tested internationally. Hopefully he won't be. Only after he is tested can I answer your question.

RE: if u were a flower...

A connecting singles flower.

RE: Have u ever enjoy LOVE in your life ?

Yes, I enjoyed love and it was wonderful. I had a long engagement with a great (or so I thought) man who broke my heart with his unfaithful actions. I was so hurt I gave up men for a few years but now I'm looking again, thus the dating site.
