There is no way to compare the two accurately unless Obama has his own 9/11 to deal with. Lets hope that doesn't happen.
Most people think Obama would not have implemented the policies Bush did if Obama were president during 9/11. No Gitmo, no wire taps, no torture. So the question is; If Obama were president during 9/11 would there have been another major attack on U.S. soil? Did the Bush policies, however "wrong" some might consider them, stop another major attack? Was it worth having some people give up some freedoms temporary in order stop another attack?
Obama has yet to be tested internationally. Hopefully he won't be. Only after he is tested can I answer your question.

Lets hope that he may become a better president than Mr. Bush and may win hearts of people around the world.Some noteable things are their change of attitude towards Iran and announcement of closing Guantanamo Bay Jail. However, what Mr. Bush did was nothing good to prevent attacks on U.S but only have created hatred for USA in millions of people globally.In his last visit to Iraq the jounalist also thrown a pair of shoes which is ample example of hatred of people for him as he was totally disgraced and disrespected. His policies substract the number of USA friends and multiply their enemies. His so called war on terrorism have created more terrorists rather than to eliminate them. Moreover,his policies proven to be downfall for USA economy as well. He has given nothing to people of USA but only unemployement, poverty, enemies and closure of giant enterprises. Hope Obama may restore USA position to where it was before Bush.

In my opinion all politicians are the same, they take from the poor and give to the rich.
I don't think it's goning to matter a hill of beans who runs our country cause we still have homeless people,poor people and right now our economy sucks.Politicians have been making promises for as long as I can remember and only do so just to get elected.
