Who can really define or dictate to others what is normal? It is different for everyone. What is normal for me may be considered quite odd by someone else and vice versa. In my opinion being "normal" is not necessarily a virtue. It rather denotes a lack of courage!
I have never been one to send hate or be bitter or angry. But i have know a few guys who got very scary when things ended or when they were not given the answer they wanted. I think it entirely depends on the people and the situation.

If the girl is interested, text messages are more than welcome first thing in the morning. As is being called beautiful. I certainly would not agree with sending something like brat or booger. I dated someone who in fact did just that. with the added smile to let me know it was a joke. It got old really fast and not funny at all. annoying as all hell. A girl does not want to be called a brat or a booger by a guy in the first text she gets in the day from him.( I am sure there are some exceptions out there of course) Call her a brat if she is a brat, but not out of the blue for no reason. That is a good way to get her irked at seeing a text from you. If she isn't interested she isn't going to respond. If she is, she will.
haha I hear you ! :) Yep most of our states are bigger than most countries. and most americans travel all over the united states. I myself have been all over from alaska, hawaii, canada, texas, california, washington, oregon, utah, nevada, new york, illinois, montana, mexico, and I am not near done. State by state we differ widely. Accents are different, mannerisms, even ways of thinking and dressing. We may be all americans, but each state has distiguisable differences to differentiate it from any other state.
I am an American and I do not hapen to fall in your ignorant generalized misconception that all americans are afraid of everything. I do not know many americans who in fact would fall into that catagory.
There is nothing to fear except fear itself... well, fear and ignorance... and I would not let my life be ruled by either one.
I think people tend to over look who Americans are. They are diversity. They are every nation, race and ethnicity. They are people who emmigrated to escape, poverty, tyranny, starvation etc. They left every thing they knew for an adventure to a new land that gave them the promise of freedom to be whoever they felt they must be, to have a chance to live and believe as they felt right. I am sure those people felt fear as all people can faced with adversity and the unknown. It is how they dealt with it that stands them apart. Americans are brave and determined, they come from everywhere and accept everyone and every religion. The rights of every American are clearly stated and protected by our consitution. Of course there are always those who are small minded and ignorant, but no more here than in any other country or nation. Ignorance and generalized thinking can be found worldwide and it is detrimental to society in every place it manifests.
Honestly I doubt it is the kind of flowers that gets a person "rejected" besides, the flowers here on CS aren't even real. They are a silly pic. It is the thought behind it and for me, the words that go along with it carry more weight than anything else.Oh and the profile of the person who sent them of course. I could get a million pictures of flowers I love and not be swept off my feet if the profile does not appeal to me.
You absolutely don't need to lower your standards! A child is more reason to keep those standards up. Don't worry, you will find that someone who not only loves and accepts you for who you are , but also is thrilled to have your package deal. Don't ever settle for less than what is right for you and your baby. And yes we all get those same kinds of messages, but to be fair, they are searching too.
