RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

Ye thats very true but im talking about parents who have been there since day one.

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

I totally see where you are coming from. But as the man above you said:

"You do not have the right to use the Legal system to deny the child their God given right - to BOTH Parents."

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

Another great post

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

i dont mean to argue about this but how long have these laws been in place? your talking at least 30 years. 30 years ago in ireland was a different place than it is now. Im sure theres is better rights for unmarried fathers all around the world but its hard seeing your child once a week.

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

ye thats true..but what about the good fathers/mothers that get over shadowed by the bad fathers/mothers.

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

great post thumbs up especially the last sentence thumbs up

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

Laws should be changed to facilitate different circumstances. Its not that hard to set up an organisation that can deal with this. Deal with court hearings and so on.

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

im talking about people that dont want to know about there child. never want to see them or make and effort to be in there life. people like this dont know what responsibility is!

ah thats totally different. im talking from the day the child is born. sorry should have made it more clear grin

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

Yes that is true but these laws are how old? and things have changed so much since these laws have been in place...its just sad that it takes a long time in this country for things to change.

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

i cant believe some people voted no! very mad
if the father is committed and wants to be with his child why stop them plus if they dont want to be a father..leave them at it. jmo

RE: Should Irish laws change to give single dads more rights to there children.

i was in the same postion too. If a father wants to be in his childs life he has every right the mother has..accient laws in this land.

RE: football fixture

thumbs up liken you allready bud! laugh

RE: football fixture

id have to disagree with you on that one..moyes is the best manger..and he hasnt two pennies to rub together laugh

RE: football fixture

ye im an everton fan..i think your right. liverpool need to get in 2 class players and then they can do it..now or never for them.

RE: football fixture

for the last 5 years everton have been 5th and 6th. we came 5th last year and fa cup final on the smallest sqaud in the leauge and with out a regognised forward for much of the season. if moyes can get in 3 top class players this year then everton will be in the top 4 no doubt. imo thumbs up grin
