summer love from sherbet

my other fave stranglers song is golden brown

RE: overseas contacts

thats right , I suppose thats also a reason why we arent as big on the shifting from one side of the country to the other like the americans are prepared to do

RE: overseas contacts

hug Yes I sympathise with you, and its even better when they get upset because you arent on when they are as there is nearly a 14 hour time difference.

Do you also get the classic line distance isnt a barrier in lovedunno , thats a perplexing one because even interstate relationships here are a bit difficult

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

rolling on the floor laughing OMG this is too much ok were you a skyhooks or sherbet fan or both. I preferred skyhooks but loved some of sherbets songs.

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

rolling on the floor laughing just like i wanted to marry Olivia Newton Joh after Grease & the girls in ABBA.

RE: How long?

hug I do wish you all the best

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

YEs he was the inhouse songwriter for the record label they recorded with, he also wrote He Aint Heavy for The Hollies one of my favourite songs.

The Monkees did write Pleasant Valley Sunday which I love.

Oh yes Th Stranglers did they have a song called Golden Brown.

Let me guess Blonde you also wanted to marry David Esses & David Cassidyrolling on the floor laughing

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

Yes most definately we just need Carol Bayer Sager to sing his songs ( as in Monty Python & the Meaning Of Life) Burt writes the songs & Carol sings the tunes.rolling on the floor laughing

I also have a soft spot for Neil Diamond as he also wrote all the hits for The Monkees aswell as his own material

RE: Friendships and what they mean to you.

I do feel for youhug . A lot of what you have been thinking is what I have been through, I lost a lot of supposed close friends when I was unemplyed for 8 months, I had friends who I thought were close friends who finished up just using me for their own needs. As far as knowing which ones are real or fair weather, the real friends I have are the ones who we have been together through thick & thin no matter what.

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

applause The Cassidy boys thats going back, well yes Im about to embaress myself my first concert was in 1977 at football park in Adelaide, I was 11 yep mum & dad had to go to, ABBA laugh

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

handshake hug Ok this calls for teamwork. We should be able to pick up a second hand rocket or space shuttle for lets say $2000.00, due to the mileagelaugh . We could get places like Ikea, K Mart etc to sponsor you that way they can supply all the paints, accesories, etc, then we can always do to opp shop route that should leave you about 85 million for emergencies. Other option is can we get the starship enterprise they arent using it at present are theydunno .

That will get you there quicker, more time to sightsee.

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

dunno Cant see why not they should have lots of spares sitting around the place not being used. idea Maybe you could hire one . You will probably have to redecorate it, new paint job, new comfy interior, complete with bean bags to watch the dvds during the flight.

RE: what would you do with 90 million dollars?

laugh are you going to build your own spacecraft . Go for it I can see you leading Australia's first ever space mission to Mars
