RE: FAVE AUSTRALIAN/NZ BAND/ARTIST

yes I have one of my first bands played live on there.

RE: FAVE AUSTRALIAN/NZ BAND/ARTIST

Me too every sunday afternoon it was just the best show, & how many crap albums & singles did we all buy because Molly told us that every one was going to be a smash hit. Since then there has sadly never been any avenue to expose young up & coming Aussie acts

RE: What is the hardest thing

That is so sad Sass I am so sorry that happened to youhug

RE: FAVE AUSTRALIAN/NZ BAND/ARTIST

applause Yes I do how could you not with hits like Boney Maroney, Glad Allover & Get The Feeling. I remember them on Countdown

fave bands/concerts/songs, etc

Its the only concert I have fallen asleep at rolling on the floor laughing damn comfy theatre chairs.

fave bands/concerts/songs, etc

Yes he is Bobs son, as for the yawn part I feel asleep during Sultans of Swing & woke up 40 minutes later & yes it was still goingrolling on the floor laughing

Queen in 1985 was amazing, have always wanted to see Bowie in concert

RE: i found

I can see you in charge of all the new fire recruits grin .OK Boys shirts off Let Kizzy see those muscleshug

RE: i found

laugh Sorry I forgot that bit John yes it does handshake

fave bands/concerts/songs, etc

dancing I missed out on seeing them but did hear they were brilliant. the most interesting concert I went to was Dire Straits in 1991, Hothouse Flowers were their support act & were unbelievable so much they got standing ovation & had to do an encore set. They were far better than Dire Straits who sadly I feel were just touring for the money.

If I could go back in time again I would go to England during the early - mid 80s just to see all those amazing bands when they were just starting out

RE: What is the hardest thing

I am so sorry to hear that. I cant even begin to imagine what you have had to go through

fave bands/concerts/songs, etc

we can go over & give him positive thoughts & vibes , that will help him

RE: What is the hardest thing

Im sorry to hear that JD , I have from personal experience found it hard when pople who mean well say you should forget & move on, but they sadly dont appreciate what you go through

RE: i found

For me it has never ever been about ego it has always either being kind or just wanting to help people from little things like reaching the top shelf in the supermarket for an elderly lady to being in the Country Fire Service in South Australia for over 20 years

RE: What is the hardest thing

After I had a car accident when i was 18 & nearly killed my best friend , for it was that I needed help.

I remember this band from melbourne in about 1985 they played in Adelaide they were called Jimmy Nastics & the Crashmats very entertaining did The Clash style music for all the top 40 hist at the time like Tears for fears, Frankie Goes to Hollywood Etc.

But you will have to keep me posted about your 3 new bands

RE: trusting your instincts

dunno its sad though you shouldnt have to worry about these things especially when you are at work.

I have been propositioned a few times by female clients , because they have said they have no money & I have refused to do so because of professionalism & my reputation.

All the best with it Blonde kiss

RE: trusting your instincts

hug thats good Blonde I was just coming up with some options to assist you

RE: trusting your instincts

sorry did that come of bad I do apologise if it did

RE: trusting your instincts

That is great advice Ralf. I also didnt know as she is doing a mobile service, if Blonde has planned her day (i.e. Thursday), she can prepare a list of all clients, addressess, times , etc left say with family, etc as an added precaution so they know roughly where she will be

RE: How bad are you?

Im sure you did look amazing with it. I had a friend in a band in 1984 who had an 18 inch high mohawk we stirred him all the time because he took hours to get it to sit rightrolling on the floor laughing .

All different shades of red. But even now dont you find that when you leave the hairdressers it looks great and you can never get it to sit how they do

RE: trusting your instincts

hug Blonde that is so worrying. I have a couple of lady friends here in Adelaide who undertake massage work like you and they have decided to specialise in just women for the exact same reason.

I dont know what you have on your advertising but I have discovered with mine I once made the msitake of putting my homeaddress on business cards , etc . now I put my PO Box on it.

Working by yourself and doing what you do , you sadly probably have to double think everything because of the reasons you mentioned. The way you described the forms was very professional & it does sadly sound Blonde like he wanted more than just a normal massage.

Dont let it put you of your goals & dreams though

RE: How bad are you?

You tell her Kizzy laugh hiding behind a law comeon Tans we know you want to tell usapplause
