I bought 2 bottles of flavored water and drank those on the way home from work, to keep me busy. It starts getting easier after the first month. I extended the patch program by 2 weeks of steps one and two.
Most of all, you need the proper mindset.
Being a non-smoker takes practice, If you start smoking again, Look back at what worked for you and what didn't and use that information to plan your next attempt.
