Is dating a single mom too much of a commitment for some men? I'm not one to foist the "daddy role" onto a partner, but is dating a single parent too much to handle?
What do you tell a child when they ask why their mother/father isn't in the picture? My son is a year and a half, and I'm dreading the day when he asks me where his father is.
lol...I agree about the mirror. There are, however, many many men over the age of forty that are very attractive. Sean Connery comes to mind. Pierce Brosnan, George Clooney, Roy Dupuis, Harrison Ford...need I go on?
Hi and thanks. The "good guys" are hard to come by anymore. They are truly few and far between. I thought I found one, but he freaked out when I found out I was pregnant. Now I have my son, who I take care of on my own. It's just that whenever I think I've met a decent guy, they turn out to be so different. It's like they show you one side to reel you in and once you're hooked, they change. It's soooo frustrating!
My dear, that line has never personally been used on me. I meant that the men I come into contact with are usually only looking for one thing, if you know my meaning. I have a sixteen month old and work third shift so that I can stay home with him during the day. Therefore, I really don't get out much. I'm not a party gir, never really was. I don't appreciate your negative view of me when you truly have no knowledge of my situation.
I'm a single mom, and I totally agree with the posts here. My son always comes first. His father and I never married and separated while I was pregnant. Toward the end, we just fought entirely too much. Now I'm on my own, and happily so at the moment. I think it's a testament to his character that he hasn't had any contact with us. I just hope to find my mate in this life.
Hi
