Hmmm... must not have been giving cortisone injections for alopecia then eh? Mind you that was in the dark ages I guess eh?
Don't let em fool you, now they treat alopecia with cortisone shots and they are painful.
My daughter (eldest on profile pic) has alopecia. No family history but hair just started falling out at 16 yrs old in Grade 10. She ended up getting injections right into the edge of her eyelid and on her scalp.
Wasn't working anyway so I made them stop........

Anyway to the OP. Bald can be beautiful on anyone!!!!

Yes would be interested in having an Alberta meet but think you may have to do a bit of driving.

Just a quick note to congratulate the gals on a nailbiting awesome win last night. I, for one, am very proud of our ladies hockey team.

Hockey Canada...... Lighten up. "Canadianhockeybeer" See!!!! I knew those words all went together. We have beer leagues in Canada for goodness sakes. It wasn't like they were smashed and falling all over the ice and making tools of themselves???? If they were I could see the big uproar, but
Remember who you represent Hockey Canada Canadians! By and large, a constituancy that enjoys the two together and sees nothing wrong with the ladies have a well deserved celebratory swig after months of being in the pressure cooker and holding up well.

If you don't want them wearing their jerseys while drinking the beer 4 years from now when we take gold again, let us know, we'll call the girls up and tell them to make sure they remove the jerseys and do it in their bras next time.

Oh by the way, loved the little celebration the girls had last night. lol. So they had a beer and a cigar and champagne for a little celebration. They deserve to let their hair down a bit. Pressure's off and they bore it well. Hockey Canada should remember who they're representing. Canadians. Beer. Hockey. I thought those 3 words were meant to go together.

And girls, if they don't like you having a beer in your jerseys? In 4 years when you do it again, remember not to offend their delicate sensibilities and take your jerseys off and drink the beer in your bras instead!

About time the west started looking into desalination methods before it comes to that. Hopefully? Lots of water all around us, but we've never had a real shortage of fresh water so haven't done a lot with the technology yet. Too bad it seems that we wait then rush to get it done, panicking and spending more in the process.

Large grain and beef cattle farms all around me and where I grew up there was mostly dairy farming. My farming is more like hobby farming. Few animals for fun, few for food and veggies and fruit for the household.

Finally got my garden all set up last year. Been a few years coming. Raised beds, pond, nice.....

You were posting same time I was writing. Didn't see this. I like to learn too but come on the forums just to have fun, learn new things (I would always check if it's something I'm going to do or need to know myself later for accuracy of course)

Just went on ebay and had a quick look.
Search for Thomas the tank engine t shirts.
Lots come up there. Really cheap and says ships to north and south america. Shipping isnt usually too bad at all for items from the states. Do a lot of christmas shopping on ebay and even with shipping things quite often cheaper.
