Exactly..this western pattern is only a little over hundred years old, probably started with the steam engine and electricity..taken over by fossil fuel engines and electronics..let's see what comes next..the agrarian style is the longest practised..may not be possible/feasible for all..but wonderful/peaceful for those whoever can make

Military is a definite way of life all over the world - no doubt about that. If you could have got done till last, you will have reasons to feel good if not take pride in your past. The luck, lot, god and nature are all out of your control. What all is with you is to make sure you are for it and it is for you.
A clear suggestion: Pls go and meet and talk to few army guys from your families, relatives, neighbours, friends' families and from any other source. It is likely to give you an in sight of the realities there and help you to decide.
It had been flooding since immemorial and after the flood, land revived. But I wrote that few miles in the south are taken by sea because of rise of sea level. It's a different phenomenon though inter-related.
Yea, why our ancestors migrated to this land is still a mystery.
You know, our's is a very flat plain country with such a big population. Already we lost some few miles into the sea over last few years in the south. If things do not change, where these many people will go! And our's is not an industrial country and we are not responible for this. It's frustating seeing land less people turning into beggers and ending up cities helplessly. May God give us the senses!
We flew on 26th night from Dhaka and landed in Kuwait at about 2am through a dark and thick cloud about 1000 feet above the ground. Actually we were lucky. Since sun rise, it started raining and landing at that time could be difficult.
The next two days, it rained continuously. It is very unusual for desert area. An indication of global warming. I stayed in the hotel and spend the whole stay in internet. Retuned home on 30th.
