Hey Scarwolve, you just keep on writing your own stuff. There are many different varieties of poetry, and not all of it rhymes.
I enjoy reading the works of a number of poets from the easy reading of Shakespeare's sonnets, the heavy language of Emily Dickinson, and the modern lighthearted poems of Pat Ingoldsby.
They all have their own style, just as you have yours. Looking forward to reading more.
I was there a few years ago with a friend and her children. Actually, I spent my 51st birthday on the Santa train
What made it for me was the fascinating little transport museum. It is crammed with all sorts of old modes of transport bikes, locomotives, buses, planes, and even a hearse which they use for the Hallowen train run. They also have the cockpit of an old fighter plane, complete with all instruments, and wing art.
The guy who runs it has collected all the stuff himself, and has some great stories about how he acquired some of it. He even wears the old CIE cap, complete with insignia, which he has worn in a number of Irish films in which he has driven the old CIE bus.
Sorry for going on so long here, but I think your son would love this place.
Hey, Just read your profile. I spent the afternoon painting doors and skirting boards. My house now resembles Francis Bacon's studio (as recostructed in the Douglas Hyde gallery). Probably your worst nightmare
Greetings from Dublin. Lovely sunny day here. Beautiful white clouds floating across the sky. Big change as over the last few days we had torrential rain and high winds. But that's one of the joys of living in Ireland. Every day is different, and even the same day can have many different weathers.
Many of my friends and colleagues have been to Finland and they all say that it is a very beautiful country. I met a lovely young Finnish couple here in Dublin last week. I promised them that I would get to visit Finland one day (hopefully soon).
I'm off soon to walk with my dog on the beach nearby. That will probably guarantee that the rain will start again.
