Looking at his watch BJ suddenly realises that there is no one at the bar to look after the throngs of people, looking to relax and unwind after a long and hard day at work.
He quickly hands the Word back to Ebony, knowing all the while, that even though she is cooking up a storm in the kitchen and preparing the canapes that she will look after the Word until Shell and Serene return.
Outside, the pitter patter of rain is heard gently falling but no matter the weather, a good barman knows his duty.
Out the door BJ dashe, lighly jumping over the policeman who is struggling with his velcro pants, and smiles a knowing smile at Shell and Serene as he passes them...
Meanwhile back in the kitchen, Ebony stirs the pot of goat casserole, looks over to the kettle and wonders why a watched kettle never boils, whips up more cream (adding a dash of liquer and a pinch of castor sugar), checks the sponge rising in the oven and...
Oh... Word?
How did you get in here???
Have Serene and Shell left you all on your little ownsome?
And after this ladies and gents, I am off to bed, to sleep...
Hope you all had an entertaining evening
Yes, indeed! That’s certainly an achievement to be proud of. Make sure to include it in your CV.
Catch you on the forums Ebony Yes, well..... Unlike you, I've been in these forums long enough to have the regs accept my eccentricities.
I don't expect anything From anyone. Including you.
Don't know what the dramas caused by fake profiles in the past were, and, unlike you, frankly I don't care. If you suspect me to be a 'fake' or a 'scammer' - Think again. Again, like you, I really don't care what your conclusion or opinion is however, if you feel you need to share it with the 'group', then by all means do so. The forums are open to all and sundry, and we both fall into that catagory, and I would be more than happy to respond publicly.
One thing I will say though, unlike you Bourbon, I do not hide behind a faceless profile, nor do I hide behind the pseudonym of Ebony & Ivory.
See you in the forums Warm regards Geraldine You're a newbie... Don't take it personally... but people drift in and out of this site with monotonous regularity... as do fake profiles.
We have had a lot of dramas in the forums caused by fake profiles in the past... you'll find that it's not only me who'll treat you with suspicion.
I didn't ask you to tell me anything about yourself... and, quite frankly, I don't want to know all that much about you. I'm just trying to gauge you.
I don't get on well with some people... I can be brash at times, and sometimes people aren't quite sure how to take me.
I only exchange emails with forums regs... and that's only to facilitate conversations that are best not had in a public forum.
Being a newbie, don't expect too much from me. Again, don't take it personally. Then it must be... in your nature to be suspicious!
To be honest Bourbon, I slot in well no matter where I go. My facade in real life is as it is in the forums. I'm just who I am.
My profile is honest, and yet, I doubt highly that I will meet anyone on this (or any other) dating site. Like you, I'm basically here for the forums. And FYI, this is the first time I've registered on this site. I was just lucky that the first forum I entered happened to be Kizzy's bar. The motley crew are right up my alley.
Well, it seems I've told you about me, now it's your turn Bourbon.
Cheers and warm regards Geraldine You've.... slotted in well for a newbie... actually too well. That's make people suspicious.
Who wants to know? And why? :) Okay... so who are you?
RE: when it rains.... it POURS
Two out of three ain't bad!
