I lived in ireland and never experienced any hostility to me, maybe not happen that I was from a country with a damning historical colonial past but never against me personally. I agree lets look to the future or the alternative is live a life in the past with bitterness that will change nothing historically. This post is also for Keeno as well. Slaintecheers cheers

I admit John I don't know but he is adamant he cannot eat fish on christmas day because it is friday. I would not mind but he reckons he hates fish. I can never understand either that he smokes for 325 days a year but packs in for lent and goes back to smoking 40 a dayconfused

You can, I am English and proud of my English heritage in so many ways but embarrassed about much of its history and as a country today it is a mess.

As for the World Cup.....come on England but not gonna stand up for the natinal anthem.cheers
