Thank you for sharing another one of your beautiful poems with all of us Rose. This one made me cry. It reminded me of my mother, who we lost just a little over a year ago.
The leaves were falling from the trees when you left me. My mind spinning out of control, and I was all alone. The icy cold fingers of winter grabbed me while the snow fell, and I was all alone. Flowers bloom and birds sing, but I can only think of you, and I am all alone. It's hot, I can't breathe, I am smothering in my grief and disbelief, and I am all alone. The leaves are falling from the trees. My God has it been a year? I can't remember how many tears I have cried, or how many times I've asked "why" but here I am still all alone.
Hey yellow rose, today's race might not have had Tony taking the checkered flag,but he finished ahead of the#48, and he's #1 in points again. All in all, not a bad race.
I am just curious as to why, when a female nascar fan is asked, "who is your favorite driver?" most reply, Dale Jr. Is it for his looks or driving ability?
