I agree though I think the nicest gift I ever gave cost me nothing but time, but time is precious.
The last girl I dated well I might have lost but I gave it a shot.
I started seeing a girl,. She was living and working in the mountains where I snowboarded every weekend. I was head over heals in love. I brought her out for a meal and she loved the wine and kept going on about it alot so I had a word with the owner on the quiet and he ordered a case for me.
The next time we went snowboarding I brought a bag with me. We went off piste and I stopped under some trees and I took out a picnic with some food and her favourite wine from the resterant. It was a little cold but really nice, she couldn't stop smiling and said no one had every done anything like this for her before. When we got back down of the mountain we went to a local hotel spa which was pretty quiet so we danced in the pool and then when nobody was looking I sneeked into the lady changing rooms and we made love in the shower. she then left and went back to Prague for a few weeks but I was going to visit her. She missed the mountains so much, so I went back to the place on the mountain were we had the picnic and dug down in the snow, I found a small stone. I then spent the next few evenings after work carving it by hand into a baby wrapped up, I just wanted her to alway have a little piece of the mountain with her. when I visited her for a long weekend I again brought her favourite wine and when we stopped for a picnic in a park in the city I started pouring the wine she looked at the bottle and was gobsmacked and it was worth it just to see the smile on her face and after we got back to her house and made love I told her to close her eyes, I tied the stone I had carved around her neck and she could not believe it. She almost cried. She maybe gone and it broke my heart but it got me carving stone pieces
I truly believe, that to make memories is more important than to give gifts.
well I quit a very good job, now in Europe with a camper my dog, my surf boards, snowboards etc etc I'm having fun, I'm definately running away from money and I like it
I couldn't care less how much money a woman has, then again if a mans wage matters to a woman I'm screwed, I have no wage, no dept either though, quit my job six months ago, taking a year of two out n traveling between the alps and the west coast, just my dog and me in a motorhome. But least I'm living life a little,
hi sorry no never tried it so can't help there I've got a couple of campers so I bring my house with me where ever I go and I have a wee dog so can't really couch surf with him. I'm taking a year out my self. Enjoy you travels
Hi well I'm just back from Italy and Switzerland, I'm currently in chamonix area, mount blanc, France but I'm from Ireland. If your ever in the area I've got a room (actually it's a camper but it's got a bed, will be in Hossegor, France surfing in august/sempember then back to chamonix if your ever in the area and I can be of asistance, not sure if you tried
gotta agree with ya there attraction is key at first but looks fade. So if you can't love someone for who they are then it can never last. Though how come there are so many great girls out there going out with complete tossers and why do nice guys always finish last???
