Don't overthink this quandary. You see you are who you are now. When you wake up every day you are now and you are that self. IF someone else exist that is you in some other frame, what does it mean. Live each minute, each hour, and each day in the present. Find what you want now, not in what you might be. Whenever I want to know who I am I write something, draw something, look at something beautiful to me, or just sing to myself.
