Irish fans have failed to get Rage Against the Machine to number one for Christmas.


X Factor winner Joe Mc Elderry has instead taken the top spot with his song 'The Climb'.


Over 500 thousand people in the UK downloaded Killing in the Name to get Rage to Christmas number one there.

cold turkey, fair play to ya I chew the nicorette gum fruity flavour nom nom nom, the first week can be hard but if you keep yourself busy you hardly notice you've not had one it gets easier after that i think, everyone tackles these things in the way they find suits them best.

usually people tend to make a vow that they'll give up something like you do for lent but your actually being serious on new years, so have any of you decided to give up anything for 2010?

I decided to quit smoking a few months ago as I was getting pains in my chest (11yrs smoking), I had got it down from 20 a day to one at night, but when I was out on the rip I'd find myself having a few smokes so I decided to give up drinking too I haven't had a smoke in 3weeks , also this new years will mean I've been clean from drug use for a year (it was a 10yr habit) I never went so far as to do heroine,meth or crack but I did do pretty much everything else under the sun.

"We have a preliminary death report of someone with the name of Brittany Murphy," Barrows told TheWrap. The report came from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 11 a.m. Barrows said cardiac arrest could mean any number of things, and was not an indication of the cause of death.

However, Murphy's suspected excessive use of drugs had been the subject of widespread speculation, and was even the subject of a parody sketch on a recent "Saturday Night Live" Weekend Update.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department said a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. from the Los Angeles home of Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

This will be my first Christmas in 6yrs that i'l get to have a lye on too, as the lil fella won't be here, but he'll surely be up here for his Christmas dinner with all his new toys, that Santa dropped off earlier this week and stored in my attic.
