Dont mean to just butt in without replying to any specific comment but i'd like to give my view and understanding of the argument for reincarnation. The first place that seemed like a good place to look was Near Death Experiences. There is access to Near Death Experiencers testimonys about what happened to them when their physical body died all over the internet. Out of all these thousands of reports provided by all of these people all over the world there seems to be the common themes of having a "life review" where the experiencer gets to see how every one of his actions influenced other human beings. Another common theme is that these people report being given the knowledge that earth is like a school/playground if you will, and that we as spiritual beings come into the earth, experience life, then die. But after we die if we have not progressed further along the spiritual path we must get our asses back down here and "repeat the grade". The best place for anyone to start who's interested in this subject is "near death experiences", one in particular is very interesting and that is the tale of a man named "Dannion Brinkley" who while on the phone at 25 years of age was hit by lightening and officially died for a recorded 28 minutes or so. He later recovers in the mortuary where he has to blow on the blanket draped over him to alert someones attention as his body was entirely incapacitated.
