I agree, but men are just as guilty! I met someone here after talking with him for awhile. Not that looks are super important, but he looked nothing like his photo on here. He even admitted to it being "a few years older" but, not until I met him.
I wasn't interested in a 2nd date. Again, it wasn't his looks, it just made me wonder what else has or will he be dishonest about..
Yes, at first it's a physical (as in appearance) attraction. But in the end, it's how he treats me. It's what he says and does over time. I have to be able to feel we can trust each other and that I(body and soul) can feel safe with him before I can fall in love with him.
I want to say I believe in love at 1st site, but for a lasting, real love, it just takes time. I'm in no hurry.
Addiction has such a negative connotation...it just doesn't seem to fit with the word love in a positive way.
altho, I can see how when you meet someone you really connect with and have great chemistry with... it would seem like an addiction! Having them occupy your thoughts for a good part of your waking(and sleeping) moments is an awesome feeling!
Not right away after the break up. For me, there would have to be at least several months inbetween...and even then, I'm not so sure it would work out...it hasn't for me anyway.
Any man of mine better walk the line Better show me a teasin' squeezin' pleasin' kinda time I need a man who knows, how the story goes He's gotta be a heartbeatin' fine treatin' Breathtakin' earthquakin' kind Any man of mine
RE: What is so attractive about drinking
Immaturity. Ignorance...?
