I have one about out the door (almost 18) on his own. He was a chore...but all in all he's pretty respectful unlike a lot of kids these days. I'm not saying he didn't get into trouble along the way.... I also help my Mom take care of my Niece and Nepehw who are almost 4 and 5. I have them on the weekends. That's because my sister is a loser. Oh and just found out she's pregnant again!! So yea....maybe have three to help with. I won't get a braek cos if something happens to my Mom they are mine. There needs to be a law. Surgery for the people who screw up not once, but after the second time and now the freakin third.... Sheeesh! I need a nap...the kids made me tired!
You can't make anyone happy just as they can't make you happy. Happiness comes from within. No one is going to hand you happiness and no one is responsible for your happiness but you.
I also read The Power of Now along with Journey of Souls. Loved both of them. Now I'm on one who authored Power of Now...Stillness Speaks by Echkhart Tolle. It will quiet your mind even in the day to day garbage....you will feel the peace even when talking to irritating people. It gets you more out of your mind than ever.... I just started it (audio) and I love it so far. It is really helping me.
You pretty much have to find that the mother is unfit or a danger to the child with proof, evidence, pics, testimonials from others and it's a long court battle and hearings with Child Protective Services but it can happen with proof. The man has to be determined.
I enjoyed your post! Even though I don't believe in any specific religion, I do believe in God and positive thoughts paving a positive path. Amazing how your post has prompted some to have a debate just because you chose to put "The kingdom of God is within you.--Luke 17:21" at the end..... Especially a debate in a post that is titled Positive Thoughts. sheesh.
You know I've not explored this sight enough until today. I'm happy to see that the forum has a spiritual side that actually talks about things outside of conditioned society. I also do energy healing on myself. I'm not good enough yet to/haven't tried on other people but my sister has with success. She has a website if anyone is interested. I know it hurts...a broken heart. I also know that you need to find yourself between every relationship. Just realize that this is all a journey and to take the good with the bad as a whole life experience. I'm sure you must have learned something from this and have had some positive experiences from it. Think of the positive you learned. Maybe how to be more passionate, compassionate towards others needs, picked up communication skills. Maybe you saw red flags and your intuition was talking to you every step of the way and you weren't listening. I'm only going off of my past experience to give you something to think about. Just don't put a wall up because no one can give you happiness. Only you can feel that from within and no one can take from you that which is truly yours. I wish you the best.
