but, I guess you were being the gentleman you are..right?....see, it is always wise to meet people in person, all the webcam and chatting online is only initial stages of that dating thing. "sometimes" ..meeting in person paints a different picture altogether...
the caribbean is not that far from anywhere else...took me 5 hours to get to Canada..to Toronto from Quebec, where I am is almost the same number of hours
.....anyway, that is a poor excuse, if someone really desires to meet you, he/she will make that extra effort 
I can see finance being an issue, not enough money for the ticket, but too far?.... for "LOVE?"..I would travel to Africa to meet my love
