I get the impression from observing the forums that people on this site must spend a lot of time - whether they enjoy it or not - typing words and looking at a screen. So I pose the question - do you spend an inordinate amount of time on the computer? I know that I have in the past, and I am trying to snap out of it and sample as much of life as possible in the space outside my house
I'll go wherever it takes to meet a girl within the Republic of Ireland. I have already been to three counties outside of Dublin where I have met women on dates.
PS The train journeys are actually very pleasant and add to the experience
I have been in a psychiatric hospital twice in my mid to late teens. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia. I take medication regularly and I don't mind telling people. It's part of who I am. And in my opinion it's no different from having diabetes and taking insulin or whatever. My illness is under strict control. I'm a happy, intelligent and healthy man, I've got a job, I get out and about reasonably frequently, and I have made several friends since those days. It's everyone's own business as to whether they disclose it to people or not, it's just that I think nothing of disclosing it myself
I know you were, but to my mind, you implied that I was not being fully adult and mature as well. I responded in what I thought was a fair manner. Do you think my comment was fair?
That's fine, too, but I think you've gotten the wrong end of the stick to some degree. I was making my original comment in relation to the title of the thread, and why I thought some women weren't genuine, and others have since come in to explain why a lot of women act as such. As I've also already said, I move on, so it's not as though I can't accept someone not emailing me. Therefore, it's not a reflection of my maturity or perceived lack of that I raised my original point. Do you think that's a fair comment
I've had scammers posing as beautiful Eastern European women email me. I always play them along for a few weeks and then when the time comes for them to ask for money for tickets, I just stop emailing them. The way I look at it is, the longer you play them along, the less time they have for playing tricks with the mind of some more gullible
Call it a mutual misunderstanding. Sorry if you were taken aback. Text can cause problems and misunderstandings. I didn't mean anything by what I wrote. David
I didn't misunderstand. I know you were being friendly. I just replied to it, hope I didn't sound unfriendly, I did put a little winky face after it, didn't I?
I am most certainly looking for a relationship. I have to ask whether some of the women are looking for relationships on this site. Most of them don't even say "Thanks but no thanks", when you write emails expressing interest to them. That's my experience anyhow
Hart is easily the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and will be England's no. 1 for many a year. The lad's got time on his side and is naturally talented. I disagree that Mancini dropped Given because of a perceived arrogance, Mancini is a manager who knows what he's doing and he dropped Given because Hart's a better keeper. I can't believe Almunia was among the goalkeepers in the list, the guy is not Premiership class, never mind Arsenal class (and he's ruined a couple of coupons on me as well). Jaaskelainen should be in there, along with Tim Howard and Brad Friedel
I went there a few times some years back and it was always top notch. This link says they have Monday night music, but you might have to check how up to date it is
You won't believe, but I just happened to click on the link myself just now, and there doesn't seem to be anything for Monday, which did surprise me. Double check it for yourself, or even make a phone call if you want. I could have sworn it had music EVERY night, but that could be a thing of the past. Apologies for getting your hopes up
I've just had Miles Davis on, Milestones is the name of the album. Over the last few months I've been listening to John Zorn, Teenage Fanclub, 1980s pop compilations, and Dr. John's latest album. Some great stuff in there
I think it's a toss up between the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The '80s were great for pop, if you were growing up then like I was, it was probably the best decade for pop. The 1990s were great for alternative and indie music, the pop wasn't bad either, and the 1970s gave rise to much innovation, punk being an example. You could pick any of them for differing reasons
This was brilliant to watch, the old Bullseye, they still show it on Dave and TV Gold and such stations. The prizes were great as well, you'd always see a washing machine, a mountain bike, a walkman, a hifi, a dish washer and on top of that a holiday or a car! Jim Bowen was very funny as well
RE: sooo why are you online tonight????
Just about to head out to see Herbie Hancock no less. Can't wait
