Hi, I have to be out of where i'm living by 5/6/10 and need to find somewhere to rent. Am looking on the usual websites, but was wondering if anyone can help me find other places to search?
I went January this year for the 1st time and had a ball. Never seen so much rain in one session. We got caught in it on our 1st day there and ran through the streets getting absolutely soaked. The streets flooded and the water was so warm!!! I haven't laughed so much in ages and when we made it back to the hotel the guests just laughed too!!!
All previous posts have pretty much said it all. I absolutely LOVED it during the wet season - it's very humid and yes, you need to always carry water and drink loads of it.
It is such a carefree easy-going place. Loads to do and see and the locals are so friendly. I was there for 9 days and it didn't quite feel enough.....but that's just me and holidays. It's funny cause my son (12) mentioned just today it was the best holiday he's had so far.
I think any time of year is fantastic and it's meant to be a different experience with both seasons (wet/dry) so I can't wait to go back mid-year for the 'dry' experience.

It's a gr8 line up of stars (even tho I don't really like Alec Baldwin). It's got everything and the few people in the cinema 2nite all laughed out loud, as did I.
Highly recommend. And guys top 1st date with supper afterwards!!
