just thought I'd post this here, I'm really beginning to wonder if I will ever find someone that I will be really happy with! I have been in a few relationships thay didn't work out and now I really just want to find someone whos company I enjoy and someone who I can share everything with (good and bad!!)
All my friends have settled down and at 28, I just want to find someone that I really connect with. I'm a nice guy, good job and treat people well but still find it difficult to meet people, I'm not into the club scene and would be quite shy.. so my question is.. Do you believe there is really someone for everyone??

Like I said before, I want to be sure that she feels the same before I do anything. I work with her so its awkward and I have a major confidence issue. Your right though, I need to do something soon.
Just a quick update.. I still haven't plucked up the courage to do anything. We went out last night, 4 of us. We had a great time, dancing etc. The night went really quickly but I had a great time. We got a taxi home together, we were sitting in the back and she put her legs up over mine, got a peck when she was leaving and she asked me to come into work today and have lunch! I was pretty drunk so went to bed, it was 4am and got a text from her saying she had a great night and was looking forward to lunch! I asked if she wanted to go to the zoo sometime (pathetic I know!!) and she said "Name the time and she'll be there" I'm hoping these are good signs, she text me this morning and we've been texting a good bit today! So I didn't make a move but we got on great! I like her soooo much, so fingers crossed!!! Thanks for listening to my ramblings!!
Thanks for all your replies guys, I woke up this morning to a text from the girl in question, She was texting me while she was in bed last night too so hopefully that means she's thinking about me!! I am going to see how this night out goes, hopefully I will have something to report back!!
I know this is probably a stupid thread and people will tell me to cop on and grow a set. Basically, there is a girl in work who I am mad about, I have been for almost 2 years since I started there. Anyway over the past few months, she has started to take an interest in me, it started with a text to wish me a Happy Birthday and now, we text pretty much every day outside work. We get on sooo well in work and sometimes flirt a little. I'd love to ask her out but the problem is, I've had lots of rejection in the past so now I am terrifed of asking her out!
Ladies, are there any tell-tale signs that I can look out for that might let me know if she's interested!?? She suggested a couple of us go out on Thursday night this week so I'm gonna head along and see what happens.. although, its more of a group gathering than a date. I really really like her and feel like I want to text her and be around her all the time! The fact that we have to work together would make rejection very awkward.
Ok, I have a question for the ladies in particular. I have been texting a certain girl, I know her, We get on really well and sometimes we chat for ages by text. I find that mostly its me who instigates the conversation, so I am the one who texts first. She always replys though. This might sound a bit mad but it makes me think that she's not that interested and has stopped me from asking out, I suppose my thinking is.. If she's that interested, she'd text me! What you think??
