By the way. How many people in the USA have actually been killed by people from these countries? I can't find the figures anyway but I am will to guess that numbers of Americans killed on US soil by people from those countries are very low.
I would say foreigners from Christian countries have killed far more Americans on US soils than foreigners from Muslim countries.
As for the wall. Not sure but I thought I read somewhere there are more Hispanics leaving the US than entering the USA.
Also I think if a wall would have been thought worth it, would it not have been build long ago?
As for keeping out Muslims, despite the September 11th attacks in the USA and the Madrid Train Bombings, there are in fact less terrorist attacks in the 21st century than ever before in the west.
The 21st century as been very very quiet for terrorist attacks in the west. Fact.
Indeed. If a person is to consider a shooting spree an act of terrorism. Does that not mean in the USA, you are more likely to die in a terrorist attack by a White Christian American than a Muslim?
Indeed, I am very sure, most people who die violent deaths in the USA are killed by American Christians rather than Muslims.
Since most terrorist attacks are unknown to authorities until they happen and we have far less acts of terrorism in the West than ever before it's sensible to conclude that there is no need to waste money and effort banning Muslims from entering the USA.

You seem to forget Obama did not create this mess. It started before he entered the White House. Obama was unable to deal with the mess because for reasons which horrified international economists could not understand, the Republican Party blocked him in the houses of the Senate from doing anything. The international economy may be starting to turn around but it would have done so a lot sooner if Obama had been allowed to deal with the crisis.
Firstly, I don't like Donald Trump. I don't think he is cut out to be President of the USA but time will tell. That being said, Donald Trump was not mocking the reporter's disability. I have seen Trump talking like that and waving his arms before in mocking things people said.
I can see how many people would believe he was mocking the reporter's disability but much as I dislike Trump he was not.
Secondly Miss Streep even though she was mistaken in her belief that Trump mocked the reporter's disability she is like anyone else entitled to her opinion. Trump is also entitled to his opinion but as President of the USA Trump should not have indulged in the unbecoming behaviour of calling Streep an underrated actress.
Thirdly, what has socialism got do to with what Streep said, nor indee, what difference does Streep's weight, Trump's weight or anyone else's weight or appearance got to do with anything?
The monks were (although in Ireland in the middle ages not entirely). The thing is some Chieftain would give their church an awful lot of money to write up that his ancestors were great kings or heroes.
I am suppose to be a descendant of Ruadhrí Mor, Irish High King who lived about 215 BC. (Monks in the middle ages, said so, anyway.)
Irish Clans usually tended to claim to be descendants of great Kings or heros and had an official origin. If you know your Irish surname you should be able to find out who you are supposed to be descended of.
Its interesting the amount of people who are using this as an excuse to hate Islam but you have said something very very true and interesting.
These people are not Muslim. A true Muslim would not hurt or commit any act of voilence towards anyone. Neither would a true Christian or true Jew or a true Buddhist.
Being born of a certain religion does not make us that religion, be it Christian, Muslim or whatever. What makes us of that religion is to love God and our fellow human beings. I was born a Christian but I am no Christian unless I respect God and others.
These people who did these things should be seen as not being of any religion but merely sinners. Thats what they are and all they are.
Or forced isolation. Intergration works both ways. Jews in the middle ages suffered from discrimation and anti semitism. Non Jews would not intermarry with them and many in Russia were moved to remote locations to live among themselves.
There is by the way a community of German Christians who traveled to South America to keep their blood pure they refused to marry outside their own group. Very bad inbreeding and not a Jew among them.
Inbreeding is not isolated to any religion or race.
The poor old Hapsburgs. One guy was so bad they made him King of the Neatherlands rather than Spain. (Which understandably the Dutch were not too happy about.)
The Hapsburgs were a very severe case of inbreeding. Cousins marrying again and again and again over many generations. However most of the Hapsburgs were quite good rulers with little evidence,apart from the odd one of any effect on their ability to rule. Infact inbreeding is a problem that many of the royal families of Europe may or do have.
Very glad to say there's no inbreeding in my family. Plus traditional Irish life in days gone by was a kind of sellective breeding. (Warrior society, in anyway weak you didn't last.)
Mind you the Irish gene pool is getting worn down now. (Lost half our population in 4 years, due to the famine). We have a high rate of genetic illness and heart conditions and so on. (Something most Irish are not even aware of.) Time for us to starting mixing with other peoples to give the gene pool a boost.
You would be surprised. Some cultures have very strict rules to prevent inbreeding.
And in the past some western cultures did not and some simply had no choice and some took no notice untill it was discovered much to their great surprise and shock!
First of all as the poster above has said. Muslims are not a race. They are a vast variety of races and cultures and inbreeding has nothing to do with Islam. It does exist in some cultures that adopted Islam particularly in some remote areas.
As for the above poster's comments on the Jews. Jews also are a religion with infact different cultures. You cannot compare a Jewish person in Isreal to a Jewish person in Russia to an Irish or American or African Jew. In some of these cultures inbreed has occured but this is due to discrimation and lack of population.
Inbreeding has and does exist in many cultures regardless of religion, due to reasons of low population, genocide, remoteness or any sever and sudden population loss.
As someone who is not an American hears what I can make out of all this.
Obama did not start this problem but everytime he trys to deal with it for some insane reason Republicans and lobbists in the US Sentate block or curtail his attempts, and then blame him for not dealing with the economic crisis.
The situation is growing worse and worse every day. Americans may not be aware that Iceland, Ireland (where I live) Portugal and Greece have all had to take out IMF loans. France, Italy and Spain may be next.
This is an extremely bad situation time is running out. The rich simply must pay more tax in the USA. They cannot expect the tax cuts they got during the boom years to continue now.
Some argue that only would make the USA excheaqer another 12.5% to 20% extra a year but thats another 12.5% to 20% of the USA debt every year and hopefully means everyone else in the USA having to pay a bit less tax or atleast avoiding even more cuts and higher taxes.
What exactly are those who oppose Obama going to do? Will they wait untill next year when they hope they will have taken over and then impliment his policies (when it could be far too late if not too late already) or will they continue to bewilder international economists by coming up with policies that don't really do anything.
From what I can tell people in the USA don't seem to have any idea how bad things are with the world economy. And what effects Europe is effecting the USA and will do so if the situation continues to go downhill here.
I think that while I admire David Norris and still do. He did do something wrong and it should have come out. However why did this not come out at the time of writting? Why now, years later?
Norris was wrong to do what he did and he was right to resign, however is it not also wrong that we have people who are employing people to dig up sleeze on their political rivals rather than trying to defeat them on issues and policies? And it is more alarming if in this case to a great or lesser degree a foreign government was involved.
And this is not about what we believe about Isreal's presence in the West Bank and Gaza is right or not. This is about the possiblity we have a foreign government trying to influence our democratic process.
This also raises another very big and important issue. Politicans continously trying to interfere with sentencing in this country.
The Pollygraph is totally inaccurate. And thats according to the FBI. The only reason the FBI used it was to convince suspects that they could tell if they were lying or not.
In many countries, including Ireland and the USA pollygraphs are illegal in court due to continous independent tests on them found them to be useless.

Do remember a conversation with an American in a hospital here a few years back. Was being monitored for chest pains. Turned out to be nothing. Just injured a muscle in my chest.
I was complaining about the Irish health system.
He couldn't believe he hardly had to pay anything. More shocked when I told him I did not have and never had health insurence in my life. Couldn't believe what I was doing getting such attention.
I simply told him, well that what I pay my taxes for. Its called infostructure.
Being from Ireland our health service in way behind the rest of Europe and in a bad way. But I have heard some horror stories about healthcare in the USA.
The US healthcare system is internationally notorious for how bad it is. Fine certainly if you are super rich but other than that you are in very serious trouble.
It is totally beyond belief how anyone could be against universial healthcare. You are at the mercy of large heatlh insurence companies who are paying off many US politians.
There are three types of countries in the world, those that have universial health care, those that want it and the only country in the world that does have it and doesn't want it, the USA.
