Thank you for your pointers. I decided to take it in more of a single parent group. The professor is more concerned about learning how to write a paper for research than our actual results. Most of the class are using convenience samples so we all know the actual numbers won't be the most accurate. I chose using the site since online tends to offer more anonymity than even leaving a pile of surveys in a break room would. I will definitely consider your suggestions when I do more research in the future.
I am a college student and am taking a research methods class. Mart of that class is to do a research paper. I am interested in finding out if birth order affects the amount of attention a child receives. By attention I mean things like attending school or extracurricular activities, taking on outings, and things of that nature. If you could take a few moments to answer my questions I would greatly appreciate it. Even if you do not wish to answer all of the questions, answering most of them will still help. If you choose not to answer it will not affect your relationship with anyone involved.
