I can only tell you my experience with the BT Vision box I had. I found the whole service to be very troublesome.
It had it installed and it worked fine for a couple of weeks then it died! I spoke to BT and they sent someone out. They said it was the aerial and that I needed a new one so I got one. I had to get a high gain one and it cost a bomb.
When it was working I found it be just free view with an on-demand facility to watch movies you pay for. I got rid of everything BT and went with Sky. I even had my mobile with them and got rid of that too.
I found their customer services useless and sometime arrogant. I now hate BT!
As I said this is just my experience but I hope yours is better than mine.
