A single man with custody of his kids, and no biological mother in the picture may scare some woman off, but you have to ask yourself if you would want that kind of woman in your life (and your children's life) in the long run. I don't think YOU are doing anything wrong.. I think it's wonderful you are not looking for a "momma" for your kids, and that you are being a responsible MALE parent and providing them with the love, financial support, and strong parent figure that they need.......It's a different world these days when it comes to custody of children, and men are really participating and stepping up to the plate. I think you simply just need to give yourself time to meet someone whose company you would enjoy. Do you see potential woman you would like to date when attending school functions or picking the kids up from school, or even at daycare (if they attend)? You could strike up conversations with these woman about current school subjects, and get to know them. At the very least, you could make friends. Do you attend church? That's another possible place to meet nice woman. Regardless, in this day and age, it is difficult to meet people who are basic good-human beings who are not just out for what they can gain, but give it time because there are good woman out there!!!
Yes, that also turns my stomach! I think that if someone wants to screw another person, they need to end their current relationship, but then again, maybe I live in Never-Never Land (minus Michael Jackson, grins).
I am very new to the internet dating scence, but I recently heard on a radio talkshow that 49% of people who post ads are only doing so to "get lucky" and are really not interested in utilizing the sites to really look for that special someone in life? Do you think these statistics are true, and if so why? Where else do you find is a good place to meet single men or woman, outside of the bar scence?
