This will be my first christmas in Tassie, and I am looking forward to spending the day with a very dear girlfriend who I have known since the age of 5 whose children and grandchildren shall also be coming. I have bought no gifts because I just can't afford to this year, a thing we have all agreed on, so will shall have a yummy meal, drinks and enjoy each others company. I have just found out that my son is spending christmas on his own in Napier, I will be phoning him and putting the mobile on speaker, however I am saddened that he has no where to go. He says that he is ok with it but I really don't like the idea that he is alone. It will be our first year that we haven't spent the day together. I hope you all have a magical day one that is safe. Happy Festivities people
I've seen the headlines but havn't had the chance to read the story yet. How amazing thou that after 50 DAYS they have been found alive What the boys and the families/friends are now going through ......wow
Hey, I am really happy for you, you have every right to be proud of yourself you have achieved wonderfully at uni and it sounds like things are going well in your personal life also, thats awesome
Dear Santa Wabbet, May I retain my sanity, while the rest of the world goes crazy may I maintain my sense of humour when others may have lost thiers may I find employment that I shall truely enjoy
SOH, there has been so much good advice and understanding given to you. If a meeting is ment to be then it will happen and best done during daylight, in a public place doing all that you can to keep yourself safe while having a great time. I agree with the others that stated that the young man should come to meet you and not the other way around, perhaps you could shout him the first coffee. I think the way parents feel has been expressed well in the other posts. Once a parent always a parent, regardless of the age, we worry and only wish for the very best for our children. I hope everything works out for you.
Whilst dd distracts mbr the kid sees that word is in trouble and sprinkles angel dust to make mbr soooo tired he falls asleep before he realises that the WORD IS MINE - lots of mad laughter- hehe haha hehe haha
