Hi random, I worked in Parraburdoo more than 20 years ago as a bar maid. There is nothing to spend your money on so it is an excellent place to save money. Sorry, I havn't read all the posts so you may have already stated it, but what work do you intent to undertake.
Ae, it is amazing that a chance meeting can happen when you least expect it. This was my experience, the nite before I was to fly to Tassie I spoke randomly to a guy regarding the wonderful view (hinterland Qld) and a conversation grew, two hours of comfortable, easy chatting. That was November last year and after many txt msgs and phone calls and finally meeting again in Tassie, we are strong. I am now back on the mainland, and live is, we are great. So, I guess what I am saying is to keep an open mind, smile and speak to people. It worked for me, and I count my blessings. Sorry to those of you that have heard this before,....but I am soooo happy and if my experience may help others ....then that is great.
Gidday DD, I havn't been here for a while and it was gr8t to read your comments, and to see you are back, anyhow My experience is whilst there may be a gr8t sense of communication via email and chatting on the phone . . . . If the photo doesn't match up on meeting, and this was my 1st experience, after travelling to meet him,he sounded amazing, I realised I had been dupped on meeting him. He had not been telling the truth about alot of things. I got back in the car and drove back home ....... 4 hours away. But.....I have to say that I did learn from the whole situation and don't feel angry or bitter. And know I have a wonderful man that I met by chance......

Hey, peeps, while I am out with the gorgeous wee one from next door, if any one has any snoring solutions, (that dont envolve a pillow being placed over my head ) I would love to hear them. I have been told that my snoring is unatural, loud, disturbing, to the extent that a partially deaf friend told me that even whe could hear me, apparently I snore on to levels and at times very shallow.
It's a beautiful day here so I am going to borrow the neighbours 8 month old and take for a walk to the park where we can lie under a tree ........ and she way to young to back chat, hehe
I can relate to what you are saying about gaining weight as a result of injury/surgury. I have a condition that had a huge impact on my life for 5 years and that was when I gained weight. Ten years latter I move to Tassie, am without a car. Fortunately I enjoy walking, however it wasn't easy to begin with . . . . . never been a runner.
