I found the best way to get to my x was to revamp my look, revamp my life & start to live again, making sure he saw how good I was now looking and what fun I was having (even if I wasn't having fun). He then decided that he wanted me back, it was the best feeling telling him I wouldn't get back with him if he was the last man on the planet. If you are happier the children will be too. One thing I did make sure of is that I never bad mouthed him to the children, they are now older and making their own minds up regarding him, the general consensus is that he's an idiot, and the kids made their own minds up about that without prompting.
