It can be confusing but there are many many red flags to this story. Look up notable scammer sites and read a few stories or look for his picture. Odds are you will recognize quite a few stories and pictures and may find his picture there. But it will give you the stories to compare and you will say, "OMG, that's what he said."
As far as the webcam, good luck trying to get him there, they can never webcam as they are on a work Laptop and it is not allowed. If you get him to do the webcam, all is said and done and you will have your answers.
They won't hesitate to ask for any amount. Mine originally asked for 4,000.00 for the medical and another 4,000.00 to get out of the country. He also wanted to open an account together and then he said he would deposit his savings of 150,000.00 into the account on the same day that I would deposit the 8,000.00 to help him......Hmmmm, if you can move your own money you can withdraw from it. Just a way to get your money and get your identification. Another thing thats funny is they won't accept credit card numbers as the credit card company's go after them more than the governments do. Strange but true.
Thats the deceit hun. They will offer the world to girls with the hearts of gold as we would never accept that. Think about that. Ask him to send to the money and see if it arrives. You don't have to collect it. My scammer called me all the time as well. What else do they have to do with their time. The money they use to call you is minimal compared to the amount of money they get from poor victims. BE CAREFUL AND MINDFUL OF HIS TAILS.
he begged and pleaded me for money and at that time I only had dial up so searching the net was very painful. Every question about the states he avoided and said he never had a SS# but wouldn't tell me how else to pay taxes. If he was a business man he would know all that. Went to library and searched and found his photo and email listed on scammer site.
I talked with a man for 6 weeks before he went to Lagos for work and then another 3 weeks after "he was in Lagos" before he mailed his demise about being robbed and was stabbbed and had no money and no ID to get medical help. They can talk for a long time before they bite!
Do an "IP lookup" on his first email and his recent email. open his email and go to preferences and you find his IP address there. Copy and paste into IP search and it will tell you where the mail came from. Copy all the IP address if you are not sure which one is his...if in the first mails he sent you from personal email has anything to do with Africa, he is prolly a scammer. Otherwise ask him for his SS# to be sure he is legitimately from the states or ask him for the digits of his SS# (as there is a certain amount). Another thing you can do is go to the scammer websites and see if his picture is there. It is worth the time to save the money and heartache. IF you need anymore help, just ask.
LifeJoy, how much joy has this man brought into your life lately? Let him go love, he obviously is just muttering through his own life why let him simply mutter around "aimlessly" in yours.
Unfortunately it is the same here in the states except that we pay until the child is 18.
In our state, a woman losses "her" welfare aid when the child enters school, and although she will still get financial aid for the child, most will have another child to up her welfare pay once again. Some women will have 4 to 10 children from differing men, all of which do not support the child or the woman by any means.
The men are not the only ones to blame here, seems as if the women in these cases are as bad a case as the men!
