I have read listened and recently watched on a TED talk a western Indianised guru, speak of Higher Levels of consciousness. I understand full well where the emphasis is in context to the narrative but always can't help feeling that the souls of these deliverers are still very much held in the classical world. My self I would have thought that once clasped, achieving further enlightened states of mind, that the classical notion of up and down and sideways and any which way would totally dissolve into oneness. To say higher.......is almost tantamount in the classical world to being above other souls. This in it's self smacks of the ego prevailing over.
I would say psychosis is very similar to tripping as we are intertwined in this meat sack that we carry and any state of consciousness that prevails creates in our minds a beautiful cocktail of chemicals our cells love to consume and so we get high on........and is also highly addictive!!!
Your view of the world and the life that you see, is totally the opposite of what it appears to be. It's not in the real world that we see all the time, but it's quietly happening in the back of your mind.
A lot of profiles that I read...... simplicity comes up time and again. I can't help hearing in the face of some kind of quasi religious doctrine that people must be "simple" in the face of fear of god , in order to BE !!.....mmmmmmmm.......what is living in the path of least resistance ?? Once you read a lot of these profiles you find that these people are very complex. YES !! Simplicity can be a beautiful thing......where by we find in our selves simple answers to quite complex issues and so on. Just can't help thinking that some times that people are perhaps over rating them selves ??????
Interesting to see all these spies being swapped between Russia and the US just after 52 dissidents in Cuba are being released. Maybe the US should also release the famous five Cubans being held in jail in the states so they can go back home to there families.
