I wouldn't use the term superior when explaining things spiritual...it smacks of a little too much ego. The raising of one's consciousness is transcending the ego on the way to spiritual enlightenment. Moving your awareness from the physical brain to the level of soul.imho

The words superior and inferior are not part of spiritual enlightenment, and as you say, belong to the egoic and judgemental mind, they are delusions of the mind.

You cannot measure enlightenment by degrees, to do so would suggest you've missed the true meaning of enlightenment and the ego is still well in control.

Spiritual came first before I knew of God and Saviour.

I've done 12 years hard drugs including LSD. I've cleaned myself up to shortly afterwards get admited to a psychiatric hospital. Can't recall the amount of psychotic episodes just that I've spend a few years locked up for and with it.
I've not taken any medications or drugs in over a decade now and made a full recovery. I've replaced medication with meditation and had the honor to learn from teachers from all over the world in various fields.
Psychotic experiences have nothing in common with experiences caused by drugs and certainly neither of them has anything to do with heighten concsiousness or enlightment.
