Mine is outside prowling....least till another cat comes near him then he will be knocking on the door begging to come inside.....wussy boy I have But he wakes me in the morning with purrs n snuggles so that's nice and I wouldn't be without him

I found Sydney very much as you say OP

Was one of the reasons I left after 6 yrs....People just don't seem to have the time or the inclination to let others join their group or even stop and have a friendly chat

I have found Brisbane more to my liking and made some lovely friends

Hehehe plus is was better than heading back to cold dark tassie which is what my mum suggested after my long term relationship went pear shaped

I hope you meet some like minded folks...either here or maybe if you join some groups for things your interested in

Your doing the best thing for yourself Take the time and grieve. Losing something you valued is sad. But also put yourself out in the world..not dating so much...But just doing things that make you smile and at the end of the day you can sit back and go...Wow I had a wonderful day doing something solely for me

I hope you start to feel a little bit better and happier soon. Take care and keep smiling

I must admit that's what I find so hard now days....No one wants to spend the time getting a good friendship and foundation...They just want to jump in and see if it works..

And I tend not to work like that...All my best relationships have come from a good friendship first...So I struggle with how it is now....But maybe that's just me
