Oh and let's all check the Bush's idea of family values. Didn't see his latest interview, but was told he mentions having his mother show him an aborted fetus and tell him it would have been a big brother or sister if it hadn't been aborted.
Perfect illustration of Republican mind set. We should all tolerate having our morality dictated from on high...but as long as you're rich you may behave as you see fit and then buy your way out of trouble.
yes, I think he was hilarious, too. And so did all the cartoonists, and late night show hosts.
I think every country should have a comedian as their Presient/Prime Minister, at least once in their history. After all, laughter is the best medicine.
Pity he didn't simply laugh off the weapons of mass distruction that were never found, as a big joke right from the start. But then, he did have to finish off what his daddy started, didn't he?[/quote
You're forgetting that red haired clown named Ronald that was elected by the sheep in the 80's
And quite funny considering Bush is only candidate EVER to steal an election. Sorry moonmana1, the votes were all finally counted and he lost by 500,000 votes, so don't even try to play the corruption card on the Dems just because they are finally willing to stoop to republican levels.
I notice that an answer to my question is conspicuously absent from your response. Hmmm could that be because you can't show ANY Christian acts performed by Repubes?
Political analysts are all saying that a Palin run would ensure an Obama victory in 2012. Miss Momma Grizzly is one scary stupid person who is for sale to the highest bidder.
Oh, and I only recently noticed that the viewed me feature is a good way of determining how interested real people are in you, as they return and check out your profile and who'd viewed logs when they do it.
Yep I feel spirituality ( or lack thereof ) is a deeply personal matter and something each human must grapple with ( or not ) as they feel called ( or not ) to do. My own beliefs are a bit unorthodox, but I figure that's between me and the man/woman upstairs.
I don't know who told you men don't like kissing. Kissing is the fuel that starts the fire, the delicious precursor which sets the tone and mood, soft and sensual, or deep and passionate. No, kissing is a wonderful thing and any man who doesn't like it you should probably stay away from.
Hello Colorado Ladies. I have tickets to see Tran Siberian Orchestra in Colorado Springs Dec. 23rd. As I am presently unattached, I am testing the waters to see who might be interested in going with me.
My final thought on this discussion goes back to our much lauded founding fathers. They came from a time in which being a dishonest scumbag meant no one would do business with you, and most likely you would have dishonored someone to the point that they call you out for a duel and ended your life. Now think about that. Would a weakling punk like Cheney or Bush have ever lived to see an election much less win one ( Oh I'm sorry...steal one ) had dueling still been how we deal with those who treat us dishonorably? I think not. We have perverted the laws of natural selection and allowed many genetically deficient people pass on their crap DNA just because they have money. ANd let's call a spade a spade. The wealthy in America have had decades, nay centuries to do the right thing, and have chosen instead to become the most leech like members of our society. That's OK, they are vastly out numbered, and this is still a country of majority rule. Learn from the French monarchy or suffer their fate you shall.
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

That's all fine and good, but show me a rich man who actually works for a living, and pays his workers according to their actual contribution to the companies profits as a whole, and you will have found a very wise man indeed. It used to be that having a job ANY job, meant a party at retirement age, a gold watch and a pension. When did America decide that human beings were a disposable commodity to be used up and tossed aside? Funny thing is how those same wealthy, when confronted by the pressures of everyday life the rest of us must endure, are the first to scream foul when things don't go their way. Perhaps if all those billions ( 9 billions it was just reported ) spent on campaigns of those who would keep their fellow Americans down, was spent instead by improving the quality of life of us working Americans, we all would be better off.
I have to agree. I was raised by a strongly feminist mother, who instilled in me an unwavering respect, honor, and commitment to the women who have shared my life. Abused women, like my latest relationship, often have a very skewed view of men, and can be guilty of projecting garbage from previous relationships onto their S.O.s often with little or no reason. She works nights and I, wanting to surprise her for her B-day, put her present in her mailbox thinking she would be pleasantly surprised. Instead I get an email saying don't ever write me, call me, or IM me. Putting her gift in her mailbox, from her point of view, constituted stalking behavior. Six weeks later, and I have still heard nothing from her even though we shared a relationship for over a year and never even had an argument. Yes, ladies, too often you perceive good men as wimpy or weak. Funny how men who have a caring heart aren't manly enough, and yet men with a long and well established history of being the worst kind of jerks, have women lining up around the block thinking their love can change him. If you're tired of men who play games, why don't you try looking to those guys who usually you wouldn't give the time of day? You just might find your diamond in the rough.
Dude, you have no idea how much I agree with your statements, both high and low. Believe me, having a debate with my fellow Americans is best likened to a battle of wits wherein I usually have an unarmed opponent.
So true. That's why I keep trying to get folks to wake the #$#% up. History has shown that as the middle classes are allowed to endure increasing hardships, the anger will increase, and eventually there will be an explosion. Here in America that could be very brutal and bloody.
Funny thing how the uneducated masses have bought the idea that socialism is unAmerican. Our constitution allows that ANY political party that WE embrace is thereby American. A little federally imposed wealth redistribution is just what we need. We wouldn't put up with a greedy child monopolizing all the toys in kindergarten, why do we allow fully grown children to greedily take all our national wealth?
Who needs the oil. Haliburton was given a 30 million dollar per month no bid contract to supply food for 200,000 troops. Doesn't take a math genius to see the graft on that one. Since troops were being fed hot dogs, hamburgers, and other common fare, and all transportation and other incidental costs were absorbed by the military, Haliburton, and Cheney ( huge Haliburton stock holder ) made out like bandits...and this is just for food, not even talking about all the contracts that Haliburton got to get oil fields up and running again.
Let's do some very simple deductive work. Bushs, oil family, Bin Ladens, oil family, 911 happens and the only plane allowed to leave the country is one carrying the Bin Laden family, gas prices go through the roof.
Conspiracy theory? Only if no one had something to gain, and this illustrated clearly who had something to gain, and boy have they ever reaped the profits on this one.
Swissblueeyes, I'm very sorry that you don't get what I have been saying. I wrote my original post in the heat of the moment intending to get women to stop and think about how testing people qualifies as playing games if it is taken too far. That's all. No woman bashing. My posts may seem confusing, but that is as much due to the fact that I am myself very confused...so sue me for being human.
Yes I love this woman, but have serious reservations about what this holds for the future. Will I get one of these lengthy periods of isolation when ( and I'm just being real here ) there comes a time that we have a serious issue to deal with?
Anyways, I am and always will be a one woman guy. Too much drama and crap comes from playing the field, and I'm just not interested in that.
Sort of yes. She told me we were through, I got on this site because having someone to love and love me is important to me, and then two weeks later she is writing saying we should get back together but take things back a step.
So I wasn't looking for a side piece or anything, thought we were through.
Yes I still have feelings for her, so I am willing to wait for a while and see what happens, but won't wait forever.
OK so one more. This woman told me very early on that when she makes a decision she never backs down. So I took her at her word when she said we were through. Wasn't until I had been on CS for about two weeks that she began writing and calling again. And Yeah, I moved on quickly. I am damn near 50, and so have little time to screw around waiting. I want love in my life and have every intention of finding it. Is that so wrong?
