To Breath

I rise in the light of day, early in the mourn. Not because it is instilled upon me as a natural habbit or a reaction planted on my brain at birth to rise with the light; NO! It is because I long to see your sweet face. To slowly peer into your eyes and lose myself in the maze of your divine iris of heavenly blue. I would hear your voice, and childish memories of play rush through me as the wind through the great plains on a warm summers day. My heart beats faster than the mighty cat on the sahara, to pounce on his prey with great triumph of victory, for each time I feel your soft skin I am reminded of the grace and divine powers above.
Shall I truly know such taste of the bitter sweet wine to touch my lips that remind me of your angelic smile and your honey kiss? Shall I taste the waters that run through the rivers of the earth that feed her as I felt the love run through my veins as the trout swim swiftly through the raging river? I long to feel your warmth and expose my heart to your eyes so that you may gaze upon true love. I long to feel your silky skin and to kiss your sweet lips. To whisper into your ear of your heavenly beauty and your magnificents. I am dead until then...I have no life. The utter feeling I long for the most is to tell you I love you, To Breath.

About this poem:
This is more of a disciptive work...It tells of a young man who knew love but it was lost. He loved her very ver much and wants only to inform her of how he truly feels before he feels it is to late. There is indeed some truth to this, I unfortunately had to sit back and watch my dearest friend Arnold drink himself into a deep deprssion before finally ending his life in 2008. His wife had left him and all he wanted was to tell her that he loved her one last time. The moral of this poem or tale is that...really your never know what you have until it's gone. And that life is short and yes we all make mistakes but we are indeed givin a second chnace to redeem ourselves.

R.I.P. Arnold
