ColonelBogey Poetry (1)

I love you with all my heart,
But fear it will break in two!
Trouble abounds when we part,
I feel so distant from you.

One life here and one life there,
Do you think we can work out?
I sink down deep in despair,
My head full of woe and doubt.

Morning comes I hope you call,
But know you probably won't.
See my love I need it all,
And settle for less I don't.

Love so deep I cannot hide,
I wear it here on my sleeve.
But, I have too much self pride,
To beg, so I let you leave.
