Why do I stay awake at night?
Its not thru' fear, not thru' fright,
My hours awake so fill my mind,
With good things, I'm glad to find.

I want to sleep, so I can dream,
Of the two of us being just one team,
Instead of only a 'cyber chat'
We deserve so much more than that.

But we live so, so far away;
And what's distance? I hear you say,
To miss out on us would be so tragic,
There should be, could be, so much magic.

This world can sometimes be so cruel,
To deny it, you would be a fool,
But sometimes it feels just right,
Yes, sometimes there is a light.

So that is why my spirits are high,
My day does not start with a sigh,
I cannot wait to rise from my bed,
To read my inbox, read what she's said.

I've found someone who makes me smile,
Someone who makes it all worthwhile,
I believe she is one of the best,
And her name? just 'S'
