Out of my dreams a shadow walks
It makes me shiver when it talks
Filled with hate and burning fear
Each word it speaks is crystal clear
The time has come for it to kill
Though it is wrong it is the will
Of the sightless fiend that haunts my days
And tries to kill in gruesome ways
Ways that man cannot be shown
Left to man as the unknown
For only I am left undead
And all it wants is to claim my head
If it wins all will see
I have let evil free
Free to roam and on earth dwell
A being from the depths of hell
If I cannot send it back
All is lost and purged in black

About this poem:
I wrote this about the people I see struggling with their inner demons if they will. It made me see that each of us have a dark side that could consume us if we dont not have a good foundation. If we cant push those negatives away they will eventually destroy who we are and in a sense kill the person we were.

Love is fickle and love is cruel
For a womans heart can not be true
First her eyes will drift and roam
Then comes the day when shes not home
A man can try to make her want to stay
But she will leave anyway
So love is a lie that hurts the nice
And leaves them a heart as cold as ice
I hear that nice guys never win
And though its right it should be sin
A good man is hard to find
But a womans love is only in the mind
Love is a dream that shatters at dawn
Its hard to live after its gone
A broken heart is worse than death
It takes all you have to take a breath
You pray for your life to end
Its the only way a heart can mend
I have known this painful loss
And have been a man that was tossed
I know that love is blind and dumb
A waste of time for any good chum
So put up walls and never feel
Its the only way to ever deal
Deal with love and its evil game
Because a womens heart can not be tamed
Again love is dangerous and untrue
All it does is leave you blue
So if you try I wont feel bad
Nor pity you or feel sad
I warn of this stupid thing
That we think makes our hearts just sing
When yours is crushed in some happy day
I will laugh and sing at its decay
So find a hole and just leave me be
Very soon you will see
I say again dont cry to me
I warned you once now let me be
