The masks we wear

I`ve been awaken in a noiseless country where the land is dry and cold air blowing,

light is a thick cloud that fills the soul up with filth,
I am thirsty,
I am lost, why cannot the sun shine like it always does?
I´ve seen bad faith in faces drowned in a troubled sea,
a vain world full of sad smiles,
smiles full of pain,
pain full of laugh,
and there is you,
I´ve seen you seeing me,
but not looking at me,
in full view patently, truthfully,
what do you think you see on me?
you said you love with those cold lips,
but cold lips do not speak the true
then I acusse you of being naïve
and consciously blind,
you dont want to see me with all your heart,
the masks I wear everyday and night,
then I accuse again,
you don´t love me, not me
you love yourself, what you want me to be,
the secret one, who would love that?
the one who tries to find herself like a lost object,
in the middle of the night,
the one sorrounded by ghots that judge her of being not more but dead
Everything you wish I werent, there you have me,
do you believe that a fake smile will fill this empty space?
would you see me crying while I smile?
would you hear me sreaming when in silence,
because when I am in silence I live between shadow and light,
and you don´t know either one,
together and separate,
being in the same room but being apart is what we do well,
always pretending,
always weeping inside,
holding a heavy heart,
that collapses in every slightest movement of the eyes,
living in a world fed by lies...
will a mirror show you faithfully what you are?
