You said you will stick with me through thick & thin
You said you will be my strength when I am weak
A shoulder to cry on, my rock, my sun, my rain, my world, my all
You promise me respect, honesty, companionship, friendship

Did I get it, no
I was a fool for you
Instead of giving you took
You took it all from me

Now I am empty, hurt, sad
Fill with pain, confusion, rage
You took everything
left me bare, confuse & alone

Where do I go from here
Do I fight,
Do I give up
What do I do

I am praying for a miracle
A miracle that will heal and mend my broken heart
My broken soul
A miracle that will give me strength to breathe to let go
To move on
To be strong

To stand on my own
A miracle that will eradicate you from my mind
I am waiting patiently for that miracle that will heal my broken soul
