I was only ever in love, just once in my life
And believe or not it wasn’t my wife

It was thirty years ago, yes, I was still young
But that didn’t matter because she was the one

She said her baby days were over, and would I be content
Never to bear me a child, is that what she meant

We talk for a while and it all became clear
She meant every word, and I cried the first tear

My heart it felt heavy as I took it all in
To go through life fatherless, I felt was a sin

We finally parted, and that broke my heart
Because I really believe we would never part

It took a long time the pain was so great
And I wondered if I ever would find my soul mate

I have come on this web site to see if she’s here
Are you out there and are you near

Last night I had a dream.

I'd like to share with you,as you where in it with me, I was making love with you.

It was a wonderful experience it was all so very real, it may have been a premonition of how you'd make me feel.

your kisses and caresses sent shivers through my spine
and when you whispered in my ear, I knew that you were mine.

when daylight broke and I awoke I realised it was only a dream,
but dreams can come true.
